Full disclosure: I visited Stanford Hills last weekend. Had an awesome meal in fantastic company. This means I could walk away with a bottle of grapetiser and still rave about it. That said, this is a fantastic Chardonnay. Oaked, but this doesn’t result in a headache and splinters in your tongue like the product of some heavy handed Cape winemakers. Doesn’t smell of anything though. Weird. Anyway, I’m rambling. For best results, visit the winery.
