At R40, this was easy on the wallet, its also fairly easy to drink as well. Typical of the interior regions, its full and juicy (much like my interior regions sadly), but its lacking oomph (stop me if I’m getting too technical). Cheap but not cheerful enough.
Darling Cellars Chocaholic Pinotage 2013
Chocolate flavoured Pinotage is about as rare as chocolate flavoured chocolate, and this wine is about as groundbreaking as a bar of dairy milk. Check out the Absa top 20 Pinotage’s from any year and go with one of them instead. Nice label though.

Smells of ripe rasberries that someone smoked a cigar over and tastes juicier than a smack in the face with a carton of 5 alive.
