Bilton Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Probably not as spectacular as a 9 year old cab should be, but still decent. Claims to taste of black olives (amongst other things), which I agree with. Also smells of pepper, but that might be the after effects of the curry I made.
Bilton Shiraz 2005
Beautiful deep purple colour but not much to smell or taste. Had it with a very mild chicken curry. Maybe needed something more robust? On the plus side, got this for a good price!
Bilton Matt Black 2008
49% Merlot, 14% Petit Verdot, 12% Cab Sauvignon, 10% Mourvedre, 8% Pinotage, 7% Shiraz. Deep colour, liquorice flavours and that expensive wood and tobacco smell that good red blends seem to possess.
