I’ve been on the Banting diet for over six months, and it’s clearly affected my tolerance for sweet things because I found this a touch too sweet. Still enjoy that amazing late harvest syrupy texture though.
As sweet as the prom queen, but with far more depth. Greatly enhanced by my friend appearing with a bucket of florentines, muffins and merengue. Just for the sheer odds of both events occurring at once, this gets a nine.
Take a bottle of lilt, add lots of honey and distill. Pretty sure thats how they made this awesome dessert wine.
