Dornier Donatus White 2014
Another vintage, same result. Was supposed to have this with roast chicken, but my mate surfed too long so we drank it while he braai’ed. Awesome wine. Up there with my favourite white wines.
Dornier Donatus White 2013
This wine is so good that the only way it could be any better would be to have it with roast duck. Fortunately that’s exactly what I did. More than I’d normally spend on a white, but well worth it for a special occasion.
Dornier Donatus White 2011
Heavier than you’d expect, but beautifully balanced. Had it with a goats cheese salad and a frittata, which proved to be a winning combo. The Donatus red needs a few years to improve, but the white is incredible from the off.
